Reason for this Petition
The following residents of the ACT draw to the attention of the ACT Assembly:
The ACT government has not renewed the licence for Canberra Sand & Gravel to keep operating the community green waste drop off facility and landscape centre. As such, the facility must close on 30 June 2021. At this stage CSG will stop accepting green waste on 30 June 2021 UNLESS the ACT Government acts to keep the facility and centre open.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the Assembly to call on the ACT Government to:
Keep the community green waste and landscape supplies on Parkwood Road at West Belconnen open.
